Both Cheetahstar and our previous medicine cat Watermint are now gone, so there's a lot new going on in RavineClan. We could use more cats, but overall we're doing pretty good!
I am sorry to say that there will be an absence among our presence; I, Raven, will be taking a vacation for about two weeks. From the 18th to the 31st. During Dark's absence, Clan leaders are encouraged to think of a plot that will involve their Clan only.

The War is over, but is the danger past?
For many long season, a great war raged between the four Clans. Kits were murdered in their sleep; apprentices were slaughtered after only a few dawns of training; warriors were lucky to live to recieve their first apprentice. Clans went through leaders in a short matter of dawns instead of seasons. Finally, four leaders decided to end the War and save what remained of their Clans before all four Clans fell to injuries or illness. With the threat gone, the Clans began to grow again.
But does the threat remain, or is the peace permanant?

Smolderfoot casually walked into camp, his ashen eyes slightly narrowed with his ease. He glanced around, wondering how many cats were about. It seemed somewhat empty in camp... That didn't matter to Smolderfoot, though. He glanced back expectantly for Morninglight or Beepaw entering camp, then trotted toward the fresh-kill pile. He wasn't that hungry, now that he thought of it, so he twisted his path toweard the portion of the river that was in camp. A bit of a drink would be nice, he figured. He paused to lap up some water, then turned around, wonderring what next to do. Relax, he supposed, and wait for orders from the leader or deputy.

Chasmstride padded quietly into the camp, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. He didn't want a ton of cats rushing up to him and asking him a lot of questions. He didn't really like being surrounded by a lot of cats, he was already a little tired from the days events. Chasmstride looked out for Swifteyes, she usually wasn't far behind him, especially recently. He didn't know why, but he didn't really mind much that she padded after him the way that she did. Any other cat and he would have cuffed them upside the ears, but he just kind of...let her. Sighing, Chasmstride headed straight to the warrior's den, to get some rest.

Swifteyes padded silently back to camp, letting out a tired sigh. She walked straight into the warriors den, barely thinking about where she was going. She paused at the entrance, contemplating where she should sleep. Should she sleep near Chasmstride, or would that be coming on too strong?
"Aah, it seems like they're back." Crookedtail said to Beepaw once Chasmstride and Swifteyes entered the camp. "I hope everyone is all right." She kept her eyes on the entrance, waiting for the others to come back as well.

Morninglight walked back into camp, her shoulders slightly drooped with the fatigue of the day's events, but her emerald eyes glowed softly as she saw Beepaw over with Crookedtail, most likely yapping her ear off. She smiled at him and walked over to the fresh kill pile. The golden warrior looked over at Smolderfoot and waved her tail in greeting, happy to have made a friend in the clan. She lowered her head and selected a mouse from the pile and trotted over to Beepaw, nodding respectfully to Crookedtail as she dropped her mouse. "Hello Crookedtail, thanks for keeping Beepaw company, although he probably tired you out with all his talk," she said jokingly, winking at Beepaw.
Beepaw grinned, stretching his lanky legs. "Well finally you guys are back, took you forever! What happened? Who was there? What did you see?" he asked, shooting off a series of questions in curiosity.
"Most likely Duskstar or Rainwhisker will make an announcement about what occured. Some was confusing to me because I didn't know everyone or much of clan life yet," she commented. "The leaders will explain it better.
A larger gray she-cat made her way out of the nursery and to the fresh kill pile, her belly large and swollen with unborn kits. Racoonpelt carefully lowered herself to the ground, selected a rabbit, and slowly moved away, nodding politely to the other cats of the clan. She was eager to hear the news of the return and wished she could have gone, but looking down at her stomach, she knew that was an impossiblity. At times she could feel fluttering kicks, a good sign that they were healthy. She closed her eyes and imagined her kits. Most likely they would be a mix of her and Woodstripe, maybe one would even resemble him with his soft chocolate fur. She hoped so, she desperately wanted to have something of him to cling to. But he was gone and she would have to live with that. She finished her meal and looked towards the entrance expectantly.

))Question. Is this a couple of days after the last roleplay like we had planned, and is Brownpaw, Brownspot yet? If so, he doesn't know about Gryffinwing's kits yet...rioght? XD))

ooc:// I did not realize that we had planned for this to be a few days after the 'Cheeatahthorn's Retreat' board. Hawky's post made it so that it was right after the warriors came back. I did the same since, again, I didn't know it was planned for it to be a few days after. Oiseau seemed to be following suit as well. So, you can just post your warriors coming back from the battle.
