Happenings

Both Cheetahstar and our previous medicine cat Watermint are now gone, so there's a lot new going on in RavineClan. We could use more cats, but overall we're doing pretty good!
I am sorry to say that there will be an absence among our presence; I, Raven, will be taking a vacation for about two weeks. From the 18th to the 31st.
You also should know that all mini-plots have been put off, seeing as Dark has returned! Celebrate!

During Dark's absence, Clan leaders are encouraged to think of a plot that will involve their Clan only.

The War is over, but is the danger past?

For many long season, a great war raged between the four Clans. Kits were murdered in their sleep; apprentices were slaughtered after only a few dawns of training; warriors were lucky to live to recieve their first apprentice. Clans went through leaders in a short matter of dawns instead of seasons. Finally, four leaders decided to end the War and save what remained of their Clans before all four Clans fell to injuries or illness. With the threat gone, the Clans began to grow again.

But does the threat remain, or is the peace permanant?

TealClan's Camp, located away from the ocean's waters. Lengths away from the beach or water, camp is hidden within a copse of bushes, small trees, and thorn patches. Only those of TealClan know the way in.
Many mice and ground birds (like quail and pheasant) can be found in the Long Grass Field. Hunting is very good within the tall grasses here, and there is plenty of space for a game of hide-and-seek among apprentices, if they have time on their paws to do so. The camp is located in the smack-dead center of this field.
Hollow Tree, a large dead tree in the Long Grass Field. This tree is enormous, its trunk spanning almost seventeen feet! After being struck by lightning, multiple times, during a storm, the tree died. Soon after, it rotted, leaving the base between the roots hollow, all the way up to the top of the trunk, where the top of the tree snapped off in a gusty wind.
The Training Plains. A large, bare bit of dirt in the middle of the main bit of TealClan's territory, the Long Grass Field. Mentors bring their apprentices here to practice mainly fighting, with a little bit of hunting techniques, too.
Seashell Beach, where cats from TealClan can hunt for crabs and clams. There are lots of shells on the beach, covered in sand and salty water. Seaweed washes up often, as well. The ocean waters, close to the beach, are full of small fish that only TealClanners are skilled in catching.
The Forest's Edge. This is the bit of forest TealClan owns. There isn't much that any of the TealClanners do here, besides mark the boarder and cross to send messages to the other clans if they're important.
The Crystal Clear Pool is where an underground spring appears within the the Forest's Edge, where the clan cats come to drink. A stream heads closer to the camp, but it's much fresher to come to the pool to drink. Some cats even swim in the cool waters. Small fish and minnows can be found in it, as well.
In a dark area, in the west of the TealClan territory, the Burial Grounds are located. When cats die and are taken to be buried, the elders take them here, where they leave them for the forest to take and StarClan to watch over.
