The Dawn Clans has moved! You can find the new site HERE!!

RavineClan

Leader: Duskstar
Deputy: Rainwhisker
Medicine Cat: Silverhawk
Warriors: 6
Apprentices: 2
Queens: 0
Kits: 0
Elders: 1
Total: 12

Happenings

Both Cheetahstar and our previous medicine cat Watermint are now gone, so there's a lot new going on in RavineClan. We could use more cats, but overall we're doing pretty good!

I am sorry to say that there will be an absence among our presence; I, Raven, will be taking a vacation for about two weeks. From the 18th to the 31st.
You also should know that all mini-plots have been put off, seeing as Dark has returned! Celebrate!
Don't forget to advertise, everyone, vitally important!
~Raven, Ineffable and Unforgettable Leader of TealClan~ 7/14/07

The new leader for RavineClan has been chosen: Fawkes! Congrats. ^^
During Dark's absence, Clan leaders are encouraged to think of a plot that will involve their Clan only.
Also, ADVERTISE! We could use some more active members. Post about the Dawn Clans on Neopets, other Proboards sites, or any other place that you can think of to find new members.
~Stormeh, Leader of CherryClan~

TealClan

Leader: Crimsonstar
Deputy: Aquapulse
Medicine Cat: Cindernose
Warriors: 11
Apprentices: 4
Kits: 1

Happenings

Be proud, O Clan of the Sea! We are constantly growing, and our activeness is increasing as well! Be faithful, and be excited!

BrookClan

Leader: Fernstar
Deputy: Redstorm
Medicine Cat: Leafpelt
Warriors: 7
Apprentices: 5
Queens: 1
Kits: 4

Happenings

BrookClan need she-cats of any ages. We've got two she-cats total, including Fernstar. We are still without a medicine cat, so please apply.

The War is over, but is the danger past?

For many long season, a great war raged between the four Clans. Kits were murdered in their sleep; apprentices were slaughtered after only a few dawns of training; warriors were lucky to live to recieve their first apprentice. Clans went through leaders in a short matter of dawns instead of seasons. Finally, four leaders decided to end the War and save what remained of their Clans before all four Clans fell to injuries or illness. With the threat gone, the Clans began to grow again.

But does the threat remain, or is the peace permanant?

CherryClan

Leader: Nightstar
Deputy: Meteorcrash
Medicine Cat: Tawnystone
Warriors: 4
Apprentices: 3
Queens: 1
Kits: 5
Total: 16

Happenings

We still need more warriors, but everyone's doing a wonderful job with making cats for CherryClan. ^^ Thanks for your effort and participation! ^^

Frustration: All in a Day's Work
« Thread Started on Nov 2, 2007, 9:20pm »

Thrushwing paced back and forth, back and forth. His tail dragged the ground in frustration and anger. His shoulders slumped, he let his head hang. Ears pinned against his skull, he didn't hear Rosy appear nearby as she watched his every step in silence.
Thoughts bounced around his mind, building up anxieties, once hidden, again. His heart hurt; he didn't want his leader to think that he was angry with her or that he didn't believe she cared. The same went for the rest of BrookClan. He held respect for Redstorm, but there was no easy way for him to show it. He still hurt so much.
Thrushwing swatted a brown paw through the sand at the edge of the brook, plopping down, his tail flicking behind him as he continued to grovel in his frustration. How would he ever explain himself to Fernstar and Redstorm now? He'd let himself get overworked and now.... His place in BrookClan was probably gone...
Redstorm would have him doing apprentice duties. He wouldn't stand for such a thing...
A short growl escaped him, which gave Rosy the time to step forward and put herself beside him.
"Calm down, Thrushwing," the she-cat whispered, closing her eyes as the tom turned and looked at her in shock.
He hadn't heard her pawsteps, nor scented her as she'd approached.
"Just let Fernstar be for a couple days and don't listen to Redstorm for awhile," she continued, softly, her head bowed. "I'll try to talk for you; I just hope the leader and deputy understand everything..."
She sighed, quietly, ignoring the feeling of Thrushwing's eyes on her. It made her pelt tingle, awkwardly.
"I've remembered a few things over the last couple days watching you here, Thrushwing," she whispered. "I remember most of who I was... Am... But I don't know if I can go on in BrookClan if you've decided not to return..."
Rosy finally looked up, turning her eyes to look at the tom beside her.
"Will you come back if I do?" she asked, gently.
It was Thrushwing's turn to bow his head and look away.
"Maybe, Rosethicket..." he muttered, his ears flicking back again. "Fernstar and Redstorm will want to give me stupid punishments, though, and I won't stand for it..."
His tail lashed again, eyes glaring at an image within his thoughts.
"Don't be such a kit," Rosethicket chided, playfully, rolling her eyes at him. "You sound like a six-moon-old upset that they've been stuck in the nursery."
Thrushwing looked at the she-cat, a small smile finally crossing his face.
"Oh, fine... I'll come back..." he decided, looking up at the blue sky. "But try to smooth things over a bit for me, alright?"
"That's fine," Rosethicket agreed. "I'll leave in a bit... For now, I want to sit here with you, if you don't mind."
She leaned over against the tom's side, carefully placing her cheek on his shoulder and closing her eyes.
Thrushwing looked shocked at the gesture but, calming down, he closed his own eyes and laid his head on hers. Silence enveloped the two, bringing relaxation and comfort to the brook.

OoC: SOMEONE JOIN MEH! I'm lookin' for any BrookClanner that's not completely and totally mad at Thrushwing, but that will not like to see him this way with Rosy. ^^ Let's have fun, aye?

Brilliant green eyes blinked at the two cats from where he'd stopped, hidden beneath the brambles. Something about the scene made his heart ache with some sort of lost desire. He was tempted to sit there and watch the two for a while, but just the thought made his fur feel warm with embarassment and guilt.
"Ahem," he coughed lightly, stepping into the cats' view. The brown apprentice didn't look as tiny has usual. In the last few weeks, he'd been gradually growing, lately alot faster. It looked as if small Sagepaw might someday catch up with his littermate, Willowpaw.

Rosy dove away from Thrushwing. She stared at the apprentice, wide eyed, amazed that the tom had been able to sneak up on two warrior aged cats. Thrushwing still sat where he was, watching Sagepaw, sadly. Something about the apprentice brought his mind back to camp; he missed camp a lot.
"What do you need, Sagepaw?" he asked, softly, getting up and stretching. "And how are the cats at camp doing? I haven't been there in a few days, I know, but I'm hoping they've appreciated my secret deliveries of fresh-kill in the night..."
Rosy looked at the tom, shocked. She hadn't even known about that. She had been staying in camp during Thrushwings time away from his clan, and it was amazing how well he could sneak in without leaving a scent in the camp. How would Fernstar take that bit of news... Or should Rosy tell her new leader? She sighed, watching Thrushwing as he waited for a conversation with Sagepaw.
